After 8+ years of being on the 3rd floor of 111 N Water, with Tom and Julie Underwood as our very gracious landlords, we have moved to 117B N Main Street.  With many thanks to the board of directors and Aimee Gray and her team at a3g architects, the HDLI office is now on street level.  Our new landlords are Garry and Kathy Shippert and we appreciate all they have allowed us to do, especially to the storefront.  Our street level presence allows us to have a welcome center with information about all things downtown.  We also have t-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs and Liberty books for sale.  Our merchandise is displayed in an antique display case donated to us by Gail Dugdale at Main Street Goods and Goodies, 16 N Main.  It was originally at the old Boggess Hardware store.  The desk used by the Executive Director and chairs in the front office were donated by Ann Turpin.  These items used to be in the Wherritt-Turpin Law Office building at 106 N Main.  We love to preserve our history — please stop by and see us!
